Miguel Mas is a photographer from Madrid. A biologist by training, he worked for more than 10 years in the field of microbiology. Then he decided to add to his scientific vision his love for art, studying photography at the prestigious EFTI school. 

 

In his work he integrates elements that remind us that life is a constant flow, but also full of imperceptible moments. His photography has as a common thread the use of fluids, which he sometimes uses as distorting elements of reality, and other times as pieces with which he builds the image. 

 

In any case, his images are alive, ephemeral, and unrepeatable . Always from abstraction, his works are trompe l’oeil. They show us a transformed reality in which nothing is what it seems, and in which sometimes we live without knowing who we are or who we have around us.
